I know that this goes against what Traxxas say in there manual , but using WD40 as an after run oil is NOT suitable, all it will do is kill your engines bearings real fast! The reason for this is that amongst other things, WD40 is a mild degreaser, so using it will wash out all the lube from the bearings!
It has happened to me twice! I now use Tornado After Run oil, which is readily available on Ebay, for about the same price as WD40. If you choose to useWD40 and then notice your engine sounds like there are a load of loose bolts inside when its running; dont say i didnt warn you:)
